Comma-clipped trailing phrase
Sentence StructureA short tail hung off a comma to close a sentence instead of landing the point directly. Either a clipped clause finishing the thought sideways or sometimes it's a bare noun or short phrase tacked on as an afterthought. Increasingly common.
Examples
“above the content, and save.”
“asked forty times, mentoring.”
